CRA Description : 
Students propose an optimal location for an advanced medical center that will serve four Texas cities. Students use their knowledge of properties of triangles, convex quadrilaterals, circles, and geometric constructions using tools such as The Geometerʼs Sketchpad® and compass and straightedge.

Students need an understanding of: the properties of triangles, quadrilaterals, and circles; constructing the perpendicular bisector of a segment; and using the Triangle Inequality Theorem. Students need experience using Sketchpad (if available) as well as ruler, protractor, and straightedge and compass.
